I'll get some pics in a few days. She's sitting in a snow bank right now, it's considerably taller then my diesel fifty.

It is a 1935 Model. The SP in the serial number stands for special parts. It often is transmission gearing but in this case it may be the "high" package. It looks high and wide. It was available in both 56" and 74" gauge.

it is a wide gauge, but not sure about it being a High clearance model. Looks as if someone replace the main spring with a solid stabilizer bar.
This could be a factory option for a machine that would have had a lot of nose weight for example a trackson loader. I do not have my parts book handy at the moment but that is my best guess.

When the snow is gone I can get some better photos. The stabilizer bar in place of the spring looks way too good to be non factory by my guess. Also its sitting beside an RD6 and is a good 8"-10" higher (rad tops) Doesn't look like anything has ever been mounted on the tractor but at one time the seat frame was raised up 4".....not factory

thanks for the help so far guys!!!

You are right the snow does make it hard to tell exactly what has been done. I look forward to more information about this unique tractor.

Hi, Folks.
I dunno 'cos I yaint no 'hex-spurt' but I can't see anything that looks like it might be a high-clearance version. Take a look at the final drive extension housing in photo 2. Looks pretty normal to me.

I seriously doubt that the hard bar was a factory option but it does look like somebody did a REAL nice job of putting it in there. That may account for a couple of inches of height also.

Hi, Saskfarm.
Thanks for the photos. That hard bar is particularly interesting IMHO. BUTT, yer could have scraped the snow away before taking the photos so that we could settle this debate.

LOL.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I'll let mother nature take care of the snow hopefully in a couple weeks........dreaming!!! my two thirty's (6G29 6G44) are buried in snow just 30 yards north of this forty.

Another thing is the distance between the tracks and the fenders, maybe makes it look "taller"???
