Thought for sure that someone would come up with the torque specs.....sorry I don't have them either but maybe this will help:

there were never any specs that I have been able to find written in any of my literature. Being that the D8800 (D7) is a bigger bore--5 3/4" version of the D7700 (D50) 5 1/2" this chart for the D8800 should get you there.
Retorque the heads again after the first run and again after some 50 hours of operation as the old copper asbestos gaskets shrink after heating/cooling cycles. That is, the head gaskets will weep.

Does anyone know the head torque settings for a D4400. Old Magnet the link you posted no longer works. Not sure what that chart was to.

An old CAT mechanic told me:
1 200# man + 1 2' long wrench + pull as hard as you can = head specs
Has always worked well for me.
Probably was this chart........
