Elderly farmer just brought this to me for identification. He did have a D2 and a 22, but doesn't believe it came from them. Will eventually be up for sale once identification is made. It weighs almost 23# and 11" long.

Early J's were also belt drive.
Delco # is actually 1102427, clockwise rotation, 17-19 amp output, 8.1-8.3 volts @ 1800 rpm.

1102427 crosses to cat# 6F2428, part of Generator Group 4B6745, used on the J series D2 and on the 1U and 1R series graders. Is there a number on the pulley?

Has a 5B2465 Pulley. I should have it bench tested to make sure it's operational.

That is the correct pulley for the 4B6745 generator group.

Would love to have that for my 212 1r grader if everyone else backs out. Mine self destructed and locked up, destroying it and the pulley.

If I'm reading the date code right, it was manufactured on January 11th of 1946.👋

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
