Mate I dont no but I reckon a tail seat has the fuel tank in front of driver and the top seat you sit on top of the fuel tank if Im wrong people will soon put me right

I think ours down here are "top seat" Owen. If I understand it correctly, the "tail seat" is as used in orchard models etc.

For purposes of ordering decals, "tail seat" is the orchard version and "top seat" is the standard version. In the case of a D2 or D4, the "top seat" could be either the fuel tank seat or the seat with fender mounted fuel tank.
