Blade and Ripper hydraulic system is separate from the transmission hydraulic system, reading your very confusing post I have to assume the tractor is power shift and when you pull the transmission control lever into a forward or reverse gear it springs back to neutral. If that is the case, there is no oil pressure, I would check the oil level in the transmission case first, if it is full to level mark, then lift floor plate and see if the jack shaft is spinning. There is a bleed on top of the transmission pump, I would be very reluctant to suggest removing it, if it gets oil pressure it will squirt out under great pressure, most mechanics remove plug with engine stopped and screw in a brass tap and elbow directing oil away from danger.

thanks for the info that the systems are separate. i assumed they were from the same reservoir as the blade and ripper started showing lack of fluid at the same time the shift lock occurred. i filled the reservoir and the blade and ripper smoothed out but the shift lever will not pull into forward or reverse at all.just moves back and forth in neutral.
The transmission oil is full.
I know what you mean about the pressure plug modification. My D7E has it.

Check the safety neutral bar on the shift tower.

it's good, no problem with it.
You can find answers to your D9G transmission questions in the ACMOC library. Look for the testing and adjusting powershift transmissions manual.

Hello
I got a simular issue, but somtimes it goes ito gear, it moves for a few seconds then the clutshes start slipping after that it throws it in neutral, that menas no transmissionfluid pressure, but i can drive forward with no issues, only in reverse it loses pressure
Do you have an idea what it could be?
Or can you send me that servicemanual for the transmission? Because i cant open the one you already sent
