Hey folks. I'm looking at a D9G with a pan pusher blade on it. My concern is while working on soft ground I won't be able to raise the blade up high enough for the machine to back out if she starts to sink.

Would anyone be able to pull the part numbers off of they're c frame-material blade/cylinders and brackets so I can see what I can dig up online?  My other concern is it's the old style single cylinder in the front. I can plumb hydraulics but are there any structural differences as far as when I go to drill and tap cylinder brackets?

I'm not to keen on having to buy an entire parts machine just to make something work so I much rather find what I need used.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, durtrivertruckingcompany. (Heck, I got writer's cramp just from typing that name.)
There will very likely be mounting facilities on each side of the hard nose to carry the beam with the ram mountings that goes with the angle and straight blades. This is a round beam that mounts on both sides of the back edge of the hard nose and contains the swivels for the ram mountings in each end.

This arrangement was also used on many of the cushion push blades.

I don't have the extensive libraries of parts books, etc., that some other member have and so I can't post a scan of the parts page.

Hope this helps.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

There is nothing comparable between the 9C cushion blade and regular straight or angle blade arrangements.
