D9 18A1901. It has a transmission pressure gauge screwed into the top of the transmission filter cover. It doesn't work. Caterpillar gauge. None of my parts books for D9Ds or Es show it. Cat dealer is a no go as well.

Anyone have a part number for a transmission pressure gauge for an 18A?

That is most likely just a test gauge. If your tractor is operating properly you only need to remove it and put a proper plug in it's place.
I just bought a OMI for the D9 18A & 19A. I'll scan it for the ACMOC library. When I'm done I will make all my physical D9 manuals available to "paying" ACMOC members.
I like your polite attitude and manners.
I also notice you have been a freebie "user" since May of 2018.
This is my invitation to you to become a "paying" member and enjoy access to our library and our quarterly magazine.

Parts books don't show any filter cover with a hole in it either. All of the other 18As I have seen don't have a gauge or a port. I would like to get it working just for kicks. I just need to find a gauge for a different application that would similar operating pressures. Problem is, none of my 18A books list a transmission oil pressure spec. And I have all the books and then some.

I appreciate the invitation. If you would like me to scan any of my myriad of old Cat books in, I would gladly share them with everyone.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
