Hello folks. I got my pre -combustion changed on my D8, thank you all so much for the advice.

I pulled the belly pan and gave the motor a good wash with 140 degree water but have found some leaks. The first leak is what I believe is an oil return line from the injection pump to the block. Do I have to remove the injection pump to replace the seals? Someone way before me just had silicone beaded against the block.

Second leak is a 1/4” barbed fitting on bottom of the governor/accessory drive. Should that have a hose going somewhere, or just be plumbed to drip outside of the belly pan? As you can see in pics I need to put a wet suit on and wash from underneath lol. Thanks again.

The return line elbow takes a 1M0825 gasket and two 6H5672 o-rings (dash-316) that fit on a connector sleeve. Don't have to remove the pump.

Do as you state for the auxiliary housing tell tale drain line.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
