46A 10345 would be a 1965 build.
I guess you mean this one.....http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Caterpillar-D8H-46A-Bulldozer_W0QQitemZ160114010309QQihZ006QQcategoryZ97121QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Looks pretty straight for an early H; pity they didn't raise the blade so it could be seen how far the tracks are adjusted out.
Looks like a very straight machine to me, but allow for new U/C, the rollers and rails look to be worn out, count the links, there may be one short!
I thought SALT rails usually were worn out externally needing a P&B turn because of sprocket wear or rail height too low instead of worn internally and track adjusters extended out to max.
That serial number (10345) would put your Caterpillar D8H somewhere around the early to mid-1960s. From what I’ve seen in the Caterpillar production records, D8H units in the 10,000 range were typically built around 1964. You might want to double-check the serial number plate or consult a CAT dealer for the most basketball stars accurate info—they usually have detailed production year lookups. Hope that helps!
