D8800 pony rings & rod bearings?

hello, was just wondering where i could find piston rings and rod bearings for my D8800 pony motor. any help would be very nice. thankyou

That starting engine is the same one used on a D7 3T era and also the D8 2U era also so this might help you. Maybe try a NAPA Auto Parts dealer as they might help on rings but not sure on bearings.Some on here have listed outlets for parts for older emgines so I,m sure one will come back with a place to purchase them.

hello, i found a set of rings through hastings, but the bearings are a trick to find. anyone know of a place to get rod bearings? any help would be great!

Plug your part numbers into a parts search on www.machinerytrader.com they have plenty listed.

If you can't find OEM bearings, you might consider relining them... I know a source.
