Hey guys...
Been a while since I posted anything. Still running my two d8's quite a bit. Found these videos I took a few years back. They are POV from inside the canopy. Some are with camera mounted under the top and others with the camera mounted on the blade control handle mount. They really show how much work a direct drive machine is clearing stumps. My youtube channel is Roydsracing.

Hi, Roydsracing.
Thanks for sharing. BUTTTTT, if you think that a 14A is hard word, maybe you should had oughta spend some time onna D8 1H, 8R or early 2U dozer with slide bar transmission, booster springs on the steering clutches and no live PTO to the CCU.

Still, I'll grant you that a powershift rig with hydraulics is a lot easier to operate.

Thanks again.

Just my 02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I remember back when you first aquired the two 8's, you were thinking of selling one of them at the time and I was interested. Never got an 8 but bought a nice 6 9U that is turbocharged. Works well. Nice to see your D8 doing what it is meant to do. I used to think a D8 could push out any stump with just one push, boy was I delusional, the stumps are huge! Have a good one. Tom

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
