I finally made some progress on my 13a project. I built a dolly to move the main case around. My forkilift is only 8k capacity so moving it after assembly is impossible. It took me a few weekends to build this thing but It seems to do the job. I think I could use it in the future as a jig to build entire (smaller) machines on. I just finished tapping out all the holes in the case, (which took 3 days) its time for sandblasting and paint before installing the sub-assemblies.

AHINKLE,

That's a great set up you have in your workshop, the dolly idea is neat too! I'm very jealous, I don't have the luxury of an indoor workshop, I have to make do working in the open for now.

I can't wait to see the finished result.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
