FYI I Have an MP4 file but no idea what to convert it to for a video to add here.If anyone has instructions I would appreciate it. I looked at the pinned article on adding photos but that didnt appear to be the same thing.
"i reject your reality and substitute my own" - adam savage. i suspect my final words maybe "well shit, that didnt work"
instead of perfection some times we just have to accept practicality
you can share it via the public folder in g drive or onedrive. all you need to do is post a link to that folder. this can also be a way to share large numbers of photos too.
This might work. here is a link to my video

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Hi, BrianCamling.
Good stuff - thanks for posting.
Please correct if I'm wrong but it appears that somebody has 'transplanted' a late 2U/13A hard nose onto that tractor.
Just my 0.02.

My '39 1H has the same setup. It has "DOB 1947" marked on the blade with welding bead. Much better setup than that headache rack.

So is the welded date something the plant would have done? I was wondering how to figure out the date for the blade and nose. I can look on mine this weekend and see if it has that

Hi, Brian Camling.
There MAY(??????) be a serial # on the blade but I doubt there will be any indication on the hard nose. The style of hard nose that you have on your 1H first came out on the 2U series from about 1950, about the same time that they changed the transmission from the old 'slide-bar' style to the '5-speed-with-forward-n-reverse' 2-lever arrangement.
The earlier 2Us had the radiator standing alone with braces up from the main frame to support it, allsame the 8R and 1H series. Then, partway through the 2U series, I think around 1947-48, they went to triangular side plates for the braces before they introduced the hard nose in around 1950.
