The pony engine works normally
First gear / or second gear mesh without any problem
Locking the clutch ....!
As soon as the clutch lever moves, everything starts to shake and the clutch is released.
Attempt to hold the clutch handle by force start the big engine.

I replaced the pony engine to another one .That did not solve the problem. everything shakes

I checked the gear on the flywheel and did not seem any harm.

What to do ?

When you say you replaced with another engine was the replacement a complete assembly, including transmission and pinion or just the engine itself?

Check the bearings in the pinion. Sounds like once you engage it, the vibration starts. Have you tried push-starting the tractor to eliminate the main engine as a source of the vibration?

I think he is describing the pinion kicking out and shaking through the engage handle when he tries to hold it engaged. Sounds like a pinion problem, maybe a broke latch or even perhaps a broken shaft grinding? Is a video with sound possible to post?

1. The engine is replacement a complete assembly, including transmission and pinion
The used part was unloaded from another tractor

2 . yes we push-starting the tractor to eliminate the main engine as a source of the vibration
Engine works without vibrations .

3. In the next attempt I will make a video.

4. The pinion kicking out and shaking through the engage handle ( Yes that is the situation )

5. This is an old video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8nWwwQX7pU&t=352s

First start about two years ago
You can see how the handle shakes.
At the 5th minute of the video
In general, the tractor is in very poor condition.

Ya the pinion keeps disengaging and by trying to hold it in is tearing the crap out of the ring gear and pinion teeth!

Kind of unusual to have two complete ponies act the same but it does sound like a pinion latching problem. There are two versions of latch mechanism, one version has twin dog latches and the other a centrifugal plunger release. The twin dog version is adjustable by changing the tension on the horizontal spring. The plunger type by adjusting the spring tension on the centrifugal plunger. If either the dogs or plunger is worn out adjustment isn't going to fix anything.

Ok
* Apparently there is no luck with this tractor
* Two motors have the same problem
* There will be no choice
* I'm going to open up the engine and look some surprises .....
* The problem will be to get the parts

If you have a choice I'd put the effort into the unit that has the centrifugal plunger release mechanism.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
