i drained the transmission and torque converter and cleaned the screen at bottom of torque and replaced every hose on dozer. cleaned magnetic strainer replaced filter and installed new fluids. this machine had been setting for 2 years. has good pump pressure. dozer wont move. am planning to have gauges to check other taps and 2 taps on transmission valve 1/8 pipe. drive shaft turns when engine runs but no movement foward or backwards
any suggestions on other things to check

Careful with that driveline. You don't want a lube failure. You had good pump pressure before the oil change or you have good pump pressure now. Have you looked at the priority valve. If you have pump pressure and no pressure at the transmission, I'd be wondering is there was something going on with the priority valve. If you dig into the valve, keep an eye on the shims. You don't want to install them in the wrong holes on reassembly.

Did the machine move, or go into gear before you replaced the oil lines, oil and filters? When you try to put it into gear to move, do you hear a high pitched whine in the trans area? If you do, the problem is that the initial pressure setting is too low. This pressure setting can also be called the primary pressure. The purpose of this pressure setting is to prevent harsh shifting. I don't know how much experience you have, but you will need a book ( service manual) I n the power train section you will find a fold out page for power shift trans " testing and adjusting " section explaining how to check it and adjust it. I'm busy seeding my crop right now, otherwise I would go into detail. I'll check tomorrow night when I get in to see if you have any more questions.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
