Should be the same.
Thats what im wondering. I have no way to tell exactly and hate to build this rake to fit weld it up then it not fit the next one. The Vblade is in the far back side of my place so its to far to run the dozer back there to check it. Its about and hour walk on the dozer. I thought originally there was 3inches difference but im thinking not now.
And i updgraded my D7E to the G size balls. The E where wore real bad so i cut them off and replaced them.
Set some large wood blocks on each side of the 7E and measure over to the trunnions and put a mark on the block then move the tractor ahead and measure to each mark on block and reduce the distance by two the distance you measured from the block to trunnion, you should have the exact distance then. Or just set the blocks against the trunnions pull ahead and measure the distance. Then measure the "V" blade frame and see if its different.
Same gauge tractors but the trunnion part number changes @ 47A3396 & 48A6393-up to the larger D8 size.
2J5462 vs 5J4321

I already changed my trunnions balls out to the larger size.
What does the D7E blade weight? It’s an old cable blade
The late Fleco rake with straight push braces weighs around 4800 lbs
Mines the taller one with the about 5 ft teeth. Not the smaller shorter cupped ones.
That would be correct, that is for the 1970's vintage rake, not the ones with cast tines.
I have the cast times any idea what it weights? And my blade?
Trying to figure out if it’s to heavy if not. I chained the rake the blade and it was about all the winch wanted. But I feel like once I rig it up with push arms it should be ok.
I figure rake and blade chained together was 10-12k quite a load on
Tractor.
