d7e steering brake adjustment

hi guys..im trying to work out how to adjust steering brakes on my d7e 47a..is it the 2 nuts that are under the fuel tank..they look like small bells with a nut on top??

No those are the case breathers, have to remove the cover they are on and the adjustment bolt is underneath. I believe you tighten it down and back it off nine clicks. Check brake pedal travel also, should be around four to five inches. also, they will tighten up as machine warms up.

Hi wacuda, The proper maintenance and care of your D7E 47A will be much easier if you obtain the proper manuals for your machine. I suggest you have a Service Manual, Parts Book and a Operation and Maintenance Instructions book.
Your post does not state your location(should be at least your general area) and the serial number of the machine.
I have a Service Manual for D7E 47A-1 through 47A-3395 that I will sell for $50 U.S.(see pg.12 of FS/W)
The other manuals are often available on the For Sale/Wanted page or on ebay.
