Hi everybody, been around for quite a while but haven't posted much over the years.

Have pretty much bought a High horse D7E and have started looking around for manuals. I was looking at the pdf file manulas that sellers have on ebay. They're military manuals so I was wondering if anyone has ever used or seen them to see if they're worth spending any money on. Looking for a parts and service manual and would like to avoid spend 180 or so bucks on it.

U/C isn't the greatest on it but the engine and fianl drives have all been done on it.

I've got a couple of old military manuals, War II era. They are for the D4 and D6 and contain the Operator's Manual, Maintenance Manual, Parts Manual and price list all bound in one volume. They are excellent manuals. I don't know about later versions.

Thanks, they're pretty cheap manuals on there. They say they cover maintaining and servicing but nobody on ebay really said how in depth they were. Think I'll probably buy one and see what they're like. Kind of a pain to have to go to the computer all the time but I think I can handle that.

They're doing some more work to the old E so hopefully sometime this week I can get the old girl home and put her to work. We're up logging and need something to open the road up so we can start hauling logs out. Spring break up isn't to far away so hoping to get at it pretty quick.
