Finally getting around to getting a external heater hooked up to the D7E. Going to take the engine side cover off and drill and tap it so that I can put a fitting and a hose onto it.

Just wanted to know how much antifreeze was going to run out for sure when I pull the block drain. Planing on posting a picture of the cover if there's any doubt when I pull it off as to where to drill and tap it.

Got the Hyd. steering clutch valve done now too. Got parts from Tornado parts and Caterpillar. Tornado parts sourced me two very good used shafts as mine were grouved out from the needle bearings. One seal had been cut that's why it was leaking so bad.

Thanks Bruce oz, was afraid of that.lol.. Figured it'd be at least 45 lt. Got the pails and funel all lined up but had to go back to combining this afternoon. Now some more problems to fix. Got the combine home and it was idling and just up and died. Haven't done any diagnosing yet other then the fuel shut off and engine oil. Always something to fix.
