Who or what company made the air cleaner for my 48a? I can't read clear but 3s5775 part number is a good guess. It is the one with the paper filter and mine is rusted a lot (its vertical), I believe a used one could be bought cheaper than POR15 this one. If you know what I am looking for would you have a parts number for it? Thanks, Lex

Thanks, I know I should get the right book but ........... I am thinking any used Cat cleaner will have the same rust problems but on a semi truck I haven't found them to take on water like these vertical cleaners on Cats. That is why I am looking to see if Donaldson or another manufacturer made these for Cat. and if so what would there numbers be. Actually I only need the two sections below the paper filter, the top is ok going to the turbo.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
