Whistler resto project is continuing slowly.

Had to move it from the driveway to make room for the boss's new Honda crash car - which has two dents in it already!

Once hay season is over we'll move it into the new machinery shed next to it's little sisters and complete the rebuild over winter.

D7 runs very nicely now that the power assist unit is fixed, new sprockets, new recoil spring and many other repairs and modifications have been made over the last 18 months or so. ROPs is ready to go back on, then the blade will need some TLC.

The winch was fitted from new so I'm told. The tractor was originally government possibly roads dept and that may explain the winch as the dept had a massive workshop back in the day with capacity to manufacture anything needed.

It was then used for logging for many years.

I'll post a video soon.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
