D7 pinion latch adjustment

Is the 2", internally wrenched, plug just forward of the pinion arm into the "bell housing" where I can access the fly weight adjustment for the pinion latch?

yes, that is the acess hole for the adjustment.

Not looking forward to working in that little hole. At least it's still above freezing here (for a little while longer). I hope the spring is intact.

Did I ever move some dirt today! Gotta post pix soon. I love my D7!!! Poor little old D3B has been relegated to road repairs. Better give her some exercise before winter storage.
