D7 Parts Interchange

Hey guys, as per my other thread I am working on the front idler of my d7e 48a.

The bearings are toast in it, and its very expensive for the parts to repair, and I hear its difficult, so i have been looking at used idlers.

I found one in good shape off of a 1974 d7f. Does anyone know if this will fit on to my d7e? If it does fit, will other parts fit from the undercarriage as well? Thinking maybe I could salvage a few other things to repair mine.
