I have had a chance to work on the 6T and find out more information. It was delivered in 48 to a Catholic Seminary, they used it to build atleast one pond and other work around the farm. Approximately twenty years ago, the pony motor supposidly locked up and seventeen years ago the man I purchased it from bought it. It had been sitting in the shed at the Catholic Seminary and has been sitting outside for the last seventeen years. The owner before me removed the pony motor and that's as far as he ever got with it. The pony motor was stored inside a shed back in the corner, we brought it home two weeks ago. We found out a pin had came out of the clutch in the pony motor and that was the only problem. Carborator is fine, pony motor fuel tank is fine. At some point in time the mag had been replaced with a late model WICO mag. I have a orginial mag for it, but at this time I am going to leave it as is. We've checked the transmission, presently replaceing the links and the clutch, cleaned the radiator, cleaned the belly oil pan for the big motor and removed all the sludge. We will probably try to start it this weekend. All the bolts and nuts have been orginals and now our meter only says four-hundred-eigthy-two hours. The clutch looks perfect, transmission gears look perfect.
