I am after the liner projection specifications for the D7 engine - 4T prefix.
Also does anybody have the run in procedure for the engine.

Thanks

Liner projection should be 0.002 to 0.005 in. with a maximum difference between liner projection of 0.002 in.

There are no special run in requirements but the 4T manual does state that you should operate at light loads for the first 64 hours on a new tractor.

Avoid long periods of idling.

Good luck with your start up.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
