I have a D7 3T that has a damaged radiator neck.Rad cap doesn't fit good.Do they make replacement slip over necks to repair?I know they make some for Old JD Tractors. Thanks

I know the one for the D2 is listed as a separate part number - check your parts catalog to see if it is for your D7 serial # then try Cat, machinerytrader, and Florin. Mine is dented and comes out but I'm in no hurry to deal with it as the cap can be fitted / removed and it doesn't otherwise give problems. I haven't run it under rated power though, or for any appreciable length of time so it might become an issue for me.

I used a Fernco coupler that has a reducer to get to a smaller size and put cap on it. I got rubber fernco coupler at tractor supply store. It also got water level a little higher in rad, to keep water up in head if working downhill. Not sure about spelling of coupler brand.

Does your machine have a brass radiator top tank or is it the later tractor with cast tanks??
