Hi I’ve had a 17a I believe, for quite a while it has been a great machine. Cable blade converted to electric start. It is a turbo and has hyd track adjusters. I’m tring to find the serial number but the engine tag is mia and the one on the rear is missing as well with no visible stamped numbers. Is there another location I might be able to find the serial number? Thnks!

Ok thanks! That’s the 2 spots I knew of as well but haven’t found anything stamped in it yet. Both tags are missing but usually I’ve seen the numbers stamped into it before. I’ll look some more.

try some paint stripper in that area--the paint sometimes fills in the indents and makes it hard to find
