D7 17A oil pressure

I have an old D7 17a that always seems to almost bury the needle in the green on the original factory oil pressure gauge. I have always wondered if the oil pressure was that good or if the gauge was bad, so I put on another oil pressure gauge to check. My test gauge only showed about 30 lbs of pressure, but it could be off too. Does that seem right for the old 339 ?

Search does not work well enough to be worth anything , SO here is a scan yet again of oil pressure gauges and the ranges of pressure relative to the shaded dials and are from a bit before the colored dial ones but tells what you have asked.
