I am looking for photographs of 2,4,5 and 6 from this diagram so I can get these parts built. I have a 17A with the D7D winch, but these parts are missing and I would like to have them made.
Would Cable Ferrule not be dependent upon the diameter of the cable as well as the dimensions of the drum assembly that the ferrule must fit in? What were the specifications for the cable that Hyster recommended? The ferrule is most likely swaged onto the end of the cable providing a solid connection. -- cts
came across many of these working OK without the ferrule retention lock and bolt--just need to convince the cable to accept a suitable bend to stay in place until the first 2 or 3 wrap around's are in place to hold the ferrule in situ.
The loggers were good at loosing bits.
