Strangely a search here didn't bring up Dust Cup, at least not for a D7. Anybody have an idea where to find one or two.

Hi, TOP.

A serial number for your machine would help.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hi,

is the air cleaner an oil bath type or a dry (paper) filter element type ????

Oil type cup is 4H9550

Dry type cup is 2M0881

At least now you may have P/No's to work with.

Both by my later 17A11879-up Parts Book, Form No. 33467 -- printed Feb. 1959

Cheers,

Eddie B.

5F6656 is the dust cup. I was just looking for a source. I might try 3D printing one.

Hi TOP, I got a genuine plastic dust cup for my D2 from either Cat or an aftermarket seller. I had to transfer the steel ring from my old cup to the new one (and derusted and painted it). It would be a very simple 3D print and you might be able to print the boss instead of needing the steel ring. The ring isn't a thread so it seats in the tightening band properly

Pint - Wide Mouth Mason Jar was what many used.

So it was a pre-cleaner dust cup that was wanted--sorry I misunderstood.

Most of that type stuff is Donaldson. We have a local company that specializes in filters and oil. They are a Donaldson dealer. I have seen the bowls hanging on the wall. Don't know about the mason jar type for sure, but would think they are available too.
