CAN someone give me the date codes for the d6u no tages on machine winch on the back and i think sn is behind it also can i get the brakes out threw the top or do i need to take the winch off this machine is before my time as a cat tech thought someone here would know thanks keith email also at [email protected]

No need to remove the winch, brakes will come out the top once the seat tank and covers are removed. Check the LH rear side of the engine block for s/n tag or stamping.

Don't forget to back off the brake band support screw underneath the tractor.
