I blew a tilt cylinder line on my D6C a few days ago. Only one hose has correct CAT fittings on it, the other 3 have screw together field fittings. I'd like to get the part numbers for the tilt cylinder hose assemblies but I'm coming up blank in my parts books.

I have Form UE035026 6A & 6S parts book for the blade, and Form UE070095 parts book for the tractor.

There are 4 hoses for the tilt cylinder because they have coupling flanges at the radiator guard so the blade can be removed, I'd like to replace all 4. Ideally I'd like to find the CAT part numbers for the fittings then cross reference to parker crimp fittings so I can make the hoses myself. Will but CAT made hoses if I have to.

I have the 6J1223 tilt cylinder, here is a link to a picture if that helps...

I have the same Parts Book. Hose fittings for the tilt cylinder are shown on pages 18H and 18J.

Well hmm, I have page 18H showing the hoses & fittings for the lift cylinders, but I have no page 18J.

Fittings are the same on page 18J. One hose assembly has a different part number and a different locating clamp.

Thanks for the help OM but I guess I am still confused. The hoses for the lift cylinders are 1" ID, the tilt cylinder hoses are much smaller, 1/2" ID. Can see here: https://imgur.com/a/lzUDIy5 As you can see someone made a mess of the fittings, globs of braze all over the field fittings.

I'm going to measure up the flanges and see if I can find Parker crimp fittings that will work.

11543-16-16 for the 1” code 61 straight
11743-16-16 for the 1” code 61 45deg
11943-16-16 for the 1” code 61 90deg

IMO for the tilt cylinder I would replace all the flanges with JIC connections or oring face seal. Simply so you don’t have to have all the extra flanges and cost of fittings will be cheaper.

I see the reason for the confusion. The phantom view of the cylinders on page 18H &J are labeled as tilt cylinders when in fact they are not. Your correct, the tilt cylinder lines are not found in the blade parts break down parts book, they are actually located in the 153 & 163 Hydraulic Controls Parts Book. What is the s/n of your Hydraulic Control? Should be a tag on the tank. Also the s/n of the tractor?

Darn, I don't have that parts book.

Here is the 163 serial plate: https://imgur.com/t8V35y8

Yesterday off eBay I bought (QTY 4) 11543-8-8 fittings for the couplings at the radiator guard, I believe I need (QTY 2 ) 11943-12-8 fittings for attaching to the tilt cylinder, and (QTY 1 each) of 11743-12-8 & 11543-12-8 to attach to the hard lines near the oil filter. I believe one of them has to be a 45 deg fitting to miss the trans filter housing as seen here: https://imgur.com/ib6Yna7 Though, that doesn't look like a 45 deg, more like 22.5 deg, but Parker does not have a 22.5 deg in a 12-8 size...

I didn't think about using JIC or Face Seal fittings for the couplings, that would have been cheaper as I think I already have some of those fittings in my stash, too late now.

Also, on a side note, I noticed I need a new oil filler cap, is 7S1803 the correct part number?

I can post the hydraulic line diagram but I still need your tractor s/n to get the correct configuration.

10K401 or 10K0401

While we're at it, I'd like to get a HYD Controls parts book, is this the correct one? https://www.ebay.com/i/372313282710?chn=ps

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
