I recently purchased a D6C with the serial number 96A175. I understand that it is one of the Japanese made models, I would like to know approximately what year it was produced if that is possible. It does have a turbo and the power shift transmission. It is a great machine and runs great!

Thank you for any assistance.

Thank you "Old Magnet".

I have been searching for a parts book on this model/serial number with no success. I am guessing since it is a Japanese model it may be hard to find. Any sugestions on where to find a parts book, or what other serial numbers I could reference?

From what I can tell the 76A, 73A, or 83A may be a "close enough" option, but I wanted to make sure before I purchased anything. I have the Lub and maintence book, it states 96A1-UP, and I have a digital copy of the Service manual which also states it covers the 96A's.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
