Found this D6 recently . According to the owner It should have come to the Netherlands by Canadian liberators in WW2 . Later it was used for ploughing and a previous owner had simply lengthened the track shoes
There are no tags , no punched numbers and no numeralcod system . Who can tell more about this machine ? Thanks , johan7 .

That's a 4Rxxxx model D6 with the D4600 engine.
It would be a s/n 4R2266-up after they changed to the large rear hub.
Be a 1945-47 model.

Looks like someone ground the paint off where the Serial # should be on the engine

There's a post somewhere on here how to use a fluid to raise the numbers from the block, even if they've been ground (enough to not be visible but no more) - I believe that it's a Cat instruction.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
