Are you sure you want one? They put out enough torque to tear up just about anything it would be attached to.
Considering how rare they are, a must have expectation would probably be in the $750 to $1000 range.
Hi Old Magnet
Thank you for your response. I picked one up at an auction a while back, because I know they’re rare. I’ve never seen one for sale so I don’t really know what it’s worth. I don’t have a D6 to put it on right now.
Ive got 3 here in Aussie ,,, one on my 9U running a 12ft Slasher one good spare in shed ,,,And one in Machine shop getting new shaft built for it ! .. They can sell for 1K here IF you ever find one !!!.
How to get pic on ???![]()
In case you're wanting to sell, there is a gentleman near me who is actively looking for an 8U/9U PTO to power a sawmill, here's a link to the For Sale/Wanted section post I made for him - https://www.acmoc.org/bb/for-sale-wanted-d6/28544-wanted-cat-pto-drive-for-9u-d6
He is located in East Central MN, his contact info is:

Just figured I'd throw this back up to the top of the forum in case something might be worked out 😊
That's a man's brush hog Pete! I like it. Does it make the D6 bark?
Albert in Rantoul ill.is looking for 1. If i had it i'd put it on a fancy pallet and display it by itself.
Yes Neil the slasher sure do make the 9U work,,, both ends !!! as we are often in quiet hilly country ,, and often thick grass cover !! .. Cant beat these ol Cat 9U for honst days work ... Still do many hours on her ... Regards to all ...pete
I very much admire your farm cat Pete. Any possibility you could put a video up one day with it in action on the slasher or other PTO-powered equipment? Asking for a friend... : )
