Owning three 9u's pulling the same tillage equipment it vary some by how the fuel pump and governor is set as well as driving style.I am looking more at gallons per acre than gallons per hour, but with tillage work I would guess 4 gallons per hour is close.Having a hard nose with a 6s cat blade I would assume dozing would use a little less.

I have 9U16163 which was new in 1954. I used it through 1967 pulling a #60 scraper. You had to keep filing all day to use 36 gal. plus/minus. She is old and tired, but still my favorite.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
