Just the top of the arm rests on my 9u.

Seat consists of two armrests, the seat itself and the backrest. Armrests were standard. Armrest just sits on top of the sheet metal that goes around the seat.
We put a D5 Brostrom seat on our 9U which is considerably more comfortable. If you research the ACMOC site on seats there is a guy that rebuilds the old seats to better than new condition. Or you could take them to a creditable upholstery shop and have them repaired.

I have the seat straps also. the seat is $395, the straps are $40 plus shipping. I also have a wrap around arm rest. they are $75 more.they come with brackets and go up over the frame about 3" toward the out side. Thanks John view my web site for pictures.
