Hello, seeing if anyone knows the oil, coolant, final drive oil, pony oil and transmission fluid capacities and weights/ types for my 1946 D6 4R. The manual is in the mail but just cant any longer. Also, do I install the oil filters wet with oil or just dry. And if there's anythings to keep in mind when changing all these fluids I would love to know! Thanks again.

Ok.. can anyone explain whether or not the D6 9U specs are the same as the 4R. I was told the machines are very similar.

the final drives and transmission will be the same on a 4r compared to a 9u. Same as the pony, air cleaner and pinion clutch quantities. a 4r does not have a wet clutch so ignore that quantity. the injection pump and diesel engine crankcase will be very similar, but may vary as they are different on a 4r with the d4600 engine compared to the d-318 on the 9u.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
