Hello folks: As I am prepping my newly acquired D4E for work/play, I need parts help.
I do not have any manuals for it yet(on their way).
Could someone scan/post the parts list/pictures of the hydraulic controls for the right side console?
I need some items that are missing.
Much appreciated.
Thank you, JM

JM,
You are probably going to need to give the guys the hydraulic system serial number. There are lots of different options.
Here is an example of a single valve unit snatched off the avspare site.
What in particular are you looking for?
More pics of the tractor please. I have a particular interest in D4E's.

Thanks Glum, that was quick!
I need part #13 plus the rod and ends.
I can make my own, but prefer the more robust OEM ones.
I got my 29X00827 from the king of D4Es himself, John G. Aka D4e...
A few little things, a good test drive and then to the painter it will likely go.
It’s a tight little machine with lots of power.
Thank you. JM

JM or d4e, to the uninitiated such as myself, what makes these machines particularly desirable?

This machine is “one” of my newer CATs.
Lots if power with turbocharged 3304, agile and balanced. Power steering, etc.
In my area, this is only the 3rd one known to exist.
He has a commercial disking business that requires a full unit( tractor and disc) be able to be moved whole, as they changed job sites often daily. Nice and compact.

Various options depending on hydraulic system

One of mine in some mucky conditions yesterday. Nothing like wet sticky clay to have to dig out of track frames...

Thank you Glum! I will save these for future reference.
How well does the wheel tractor do with the 40? That’s wet I’ll say. Long distance or just conveniently using rubber vs. tracks?

That tractor does ok in normal conditions and pre ripped soil, but much easier on everything to give it a shove. In that muck it hasn't a chance of getting a half load without a push.400 odd meter long dam wall, so a bit far of a haul for a crawler a lot of the time.
Wish the guy would park things up for a few days, but he's in an awful hurry.

Glum, thanks for the photo of the crawler giving the wheel tractor some help. I do the same on the farm with a John Deere 4440 pulling and the D4 pushing to load the 40 scraper. Running around a 160 acre field filling washouts and gullies is much easier with the Power Shift on the 4440 compared to chasing around a quarter section on the D4. The big difference is that we don't get much rain so not much to do in muck.

Hi Jim,
We are in a fairly dry climate too.
Plenty of days in a year with sun and wind to not need to try working in the mud.
