I'm looking at a well used D4D Sn 8301036. Other than the standard stuff, anything I should look out for on this machine?

Hi 54D2,
I think you'll find that serial number to be an 83J1036, a 1970 model.
The engine is a late D330c, 4-3/4 bore, almost to a 3304(78P) engine at serial number 1822. By this time the D4D has it's bugs worked out and is a pretty good tractor.

Thanks for the information. I thought I'd pull an oil sample from the engine and trans to see if there is a major issue
