I was wondering if i can replace the old oil style canister on a D333 engine with a spin on from a 3304 engine. I had planed on replacing the entire thing including where the coolant goes through. 8 bolts. i plan on removing it for inspection inluding the trans cooler for cleaning. i thought this may be the time to change to the spin on filter but was not for sure if this would work due to maybe a pressre releif. thanks for any help.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
