Looking to buy this D4DI tried calling Cat, but they couldn’t help with any information.

serial# 83j773

cat put two zeros in #83j00773

looking for year and Stick or power shift or any other info would be appreciated!

Hey, thanks for the information I really really appreciate that.

I now find out he has to add water to the engine after he runs it a while, but he states it’s not going into the oil.

I would assume then that the compression is pushing into the radiator system and pushing out the water out of overflow tube?

Or is there a particular problem with the D330 C engine when it comes to losing coolant?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Check for air bubbles at the radiator neck indicating either a head gasket problem or cracked head.
