Someone local to me is advertising near new D4D bottom rollers, is there any chance I could use them on my D4 7J and RD4, or are they a larger chain and mounting bolt spacing on the track frame?
thanks
Mike

You are amazing Eddy, how fast you find these technical sheets, scan them, and post them, we sure are lucky to have you keeping an eye out for us. I'll get my old Part Number books out and do a search on the Machinery Trader site, see if those newer Part Numbers cross check back to the older D4.
Many thanks
Mike

I just checked part numbers on the Machinery Trader site, and the D4 6U has the same P/N's as that chart 9P7787, correct me if I'm wrong but the D4 6U has the same undercarriage specs as the older D4 7J and RD4 doesn't it? Like 6U bottom rollers will bolt onto a 7J and 2T?
thanks

If I can believe my old interchange catalog, all the D4's use the same roller mount dimensions. I know it's good back to the 7J, 2T but I'd still take the measuring stick to the RD4's.

Hi Mike,
as OM said, measure ALL the roller dimensions on your machine and compare them to the chart sizes before doing anything else. I posted the chart so you could do a comparison of the chart versus your machine.
Sorry, I maybe should have said that in my first post.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
