I need some advice on where to find the correct decals (original) for a 1962 D4C. EAS has posted some photos in the past few months of the tractor being repainted and reconditioned where needed and we just are about done with the project and painting. I looked on the ACMOC decal list but it looks like the D4C is newer than the decals that are offered. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

ACMOC actually stocks about 90% of the decals required for the D4C, many are the same as used on the very late D4 6U/7U. The D4C had a relative short 5 year production life. There were decal changes during this 5 year period. ACMOC is working to offer complete decal kits for all D4C's.

Thanks for the information KCB. As I am a member of ACMOC, is there anybody associated with the store that would be able to pull the decals needed, that you are aware of? It is always helpful when ordering something that is out of the ordinary to find somebody that has been to the dance before! This gives me hope that I can also get the correct decals for our 315 engine without having to buy a complete D4 set of decals.

Contact Mary at the ACMOC office, be sure and give her your serial numbers. I support ACMOC with all "special orders", so she will contact me directly when your request comes in. Decals are probably in stock for your D315 engine.

Photos of the D4-C taken this morning after a lot of time and a lot of money, We are approaching the point of needing the correct decals, which I hope I can purchase from ACMOC.

I posted a few of the before (taken in Washington at time of purchase) & after pictures. My son EAS has placed a few as we have progressed. We are fortunate to have a very skilled mechanic and fabricator helping us too. When decaled and touched up I will post a few more if anybody is interested.

Thank you gentlemen for the help.

John W. Edson

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
