i ended up getting a gauge that was calibrated for the correct temp range of the d4 from stewart warner . the face reads in degrees F and uses numbers rather than green yellow red.

I have an account with Cat and when you add items to the cart like old part numbers, it up dates to the new number.
If you got to your local Cat dealer they also should be able to give you the updated number too.
