You have several options........You could spend the money and put new pins and bushings in.
Keep eyes open for another set of tracks. Or.... spend the money and buy new. Considering that you put only a couple hundred hours on it a year, it sounds like you want to opt for the cheaper decision. If your going to spend time fixing up the tracks, I would look at your rollers while you're at it.

Next Tuesday night @ CatNight go up to the shed where the DIESEL 35 is parked. Over by "Kenny" the JD tractor. Take some pictures of the tracks rolled up and sitting by the pump shed. Let's get some pics with a ruler on them and post. Maybe he will like the spare tracks?-glen

Ol Willie sent a few old D4's off to the knackers yard in China the other day for a one way ride and I reckon he said a couple were runners, so I assume he should have some good track and under carriage parts available to help fellow ACMOC members save a few old D4's Stateside at scrap steel price, what is it right now on the West Coast, $200 a ton in your yard, $300 a ton delivered to San Fran or L.A? I know I could use good tracks and rollers here in Oz to help me save a couple of RD4's, so I reckon we need to find a better way for ACMOC members to think of others before scrapping old Cats, seems I keep ordering stuff from Florin every few weeks that would be available off a good old Cat, like last week I ordered a new throttle ratchet for my RD4 because the existing one is worn out and keeps sliding from high idle back to idle every few seconds driving me nuts, plus I ordered a hundred other bits and pieces like pilot motor valves and oddball springs, like just that little spring on a RD6 throttle handle is $16 from Cat. because Florin don't have them.
