On my poney motor I have a dead cylinder on the right side.Can you remove the cylinder head with out removing the poney.

Yes, but you must drain the coolant down before you do. Usually can reuse the head gasket without any problems unless it's damaged in some way. May want to spray it with some sort of sealant if you have any questions about it sealing rough spots on head or block surfaces.

Hope you find a stuck valve that can be tapped back closed after spraying with penetrating oil etc.
