Hi to all. Looked at the D4 over the weedend. pins have been turned and new surface is worn. main engine is loose as is the pony. Pony has little to no compression. Owner said machine has been stored for about 25 years. would rings be dry causing loss of compression or should i be worried about valves? This is the machine showing 11,000 hrs on the meter. Thanks, Jim.

My pony doesn't really feel like it has much compression, but it runs like a champ. I don't think that they really have that much compression. A compression test should show 70psi or so I believe. I've seen small engines run with as little as 25 psi not very well but ran.
