Does anyone have a guess on a early 50’s D4 running with 400 original hours. Good old paint. No blade, farm tractor I guess. Unfortunately I don’t have the serial number currently. Will try to get. Any guesses on some kind of value on this super nice tractor.

Thanks Don

It would be nice to see what it really looks like. I have a friend that has a D4 with aftermarket blade that he swears to this day, has only around 2000 hours and asking 10k.
My own observations said it was not the case, even though the hour meter showed 2xxx hours. Others may chime in and say it is only worth whatever you are willing to pay...
Please share some pictures so that we may drool over it, or wage a bidding war for it. JM

Sounds a bit like a 1957 D6 8U I purchased at auction recently, it had a genuine 601 hours on it, had to push it to $26,000 au.

its the hardest question to answer and the most subjective.

in reality its what your willing to pay. and how much do you want it. of course you want to get it for a good price thats only natural.

but is second the photos comment need pictures so we can live vicariously through you.

instead of perfection some times we just have to accept practicality
