D4 Pony motor piston ring installation question

I am putting new rings in my pony motor. I got the compression rings from Florin Tractor and 3 of the 4 are marked "top" but one isn't. Is there a way to tell which way it should go? Is there a direction on the oil rings? I got new oil rings from Cat and they only have an "E" marked on them. I put the "E" side up but don't know if it means anything.
